I recently took my first ever road trip down south, ending in Savannah! Besides the leg cramps, this trip was full of amazingness. Along the way, I met up with the talented Emma Katzka to photograph some of her accessories as we explored Charleston. The necklace and earrings she's wearing were indeed designed by her too. You can really see how her line was inspired by her city!
Mike and Megan are super kind human beings. I can tell because not only were they sweet to me and each other, but at dinner the toasts kept rolling in with loved ones telling stories about their humility and generosity; exactly the type of couple you want to document. They plied all their guests with amazing food, trolly rides, gifts, and music from a cover band that absolutely slayed Justin Timberlake. Here are some of my favorites from their end of summer wedding.
Thank you to the talented Ashley Bosnick for having me shoot alongside her!
It's no secret I'm a huge fan of elopements. I got together last month with some killer vendors for this inspiration shoot at Storm King Mountain. Thanks to real life couple (and past client!), Julie and Colby, for modeling and bringing this idea to life.

Can we believe this happened? No not really. When Jeremy and I were planning our trip to Austria, I connected with a talented local wedding planner, Verena Kindermann. We ended up being fans of each others' work and she offered to plan an Austrian photography session and hook me up with a local couple interested in an anniversary shoot. And when I met Sandra and Thomas, my husband and I instantly connected with them. From our mutual love of How I Met Your Mother and Game of Thrones to our shared obsession of adventure travel and good food, we had a ton to chat about. This is why I love traveling. It's always amazing how much we have in common with our peers across the world. The four of us explored the beautiful town of Hallstatt for a while, took some polaroids, and then shared some drinks overlooking that heavenly lake. Here's what we saw.
