How would you describe your photography style?
I favor real moments of connection over poses and I love to incorporate the outdoors and natural elements as much as I can. I also love to celebrate the unique personal style of all my couples, so I draw a lot of inspiration from fashion photography. 

My editing style was thoughtfully crafted to represent reality: somewhere between light and airy and moody. I want the photos to look like how it felt to you, and I find that this way allows me to capture a wide range of intricate emotions during the wedding day. 

How many weddings have you shot?
As of 2020, I've shot over 60 weddings.

Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in Fairfield County, Connecticut and most of my weddings require travel! For destination weddings and shoots, there is no additional charge to you besides my transportation and hotel and we work together to find the best prices.

What's the benefit of an engagement shoot?
My engagement shoots are a little atypical. They are centered around complete personalization. I take the time to get to know you and find out what YOU want to capture: how you cook together... that nightly tickle-fight... With weddings often come big moves and life changes, so my goal is to document what your home, your life, and your rituals look like right now. I want you to be able to look back on your images in 40 years and remember what it was like to just be engaged.

Are you insured?
Yes, I have liability insurance.

How many wedding/engagement images can I expect and what's the delivery method?
Depending on the number of hours you choose, you can expect 400-1000 wedding images and 50-100 engagement. All photos are delivered in an online gallery where you can download high resolution images and order prints.

What are your rates?
My packages are setup simply and with personalization in mind. There are three choices that vary in length and number of photos, the highest including a second photographer. Prices start at $6,000. No matter the package you choose, a $500 retainer paid online will immediately reserve your day, with the remainder due 2 months prior to the wedding. Please contact me for current rates and detailed information about my packages.

Do you bring backup equipment to weddings?
Absolutely! I come with two Canon 5D Mark III camera bodies, multiple flashes, batteries, and SD cards. I also bring a variety of prime L-series lenses (Canon Luxury Lenses). As soon as I get home, I backup your images to my computer and to my cloud storage space. 

I don't see many formals on your site. Do you do formal family photos at weddings?
Yes. I collect all the information I need from you before the wedding and I gather the family members and friends that you'd like to see in photos for formal groupings. Most of my couples are far more interested in seeing the more natural photos than the posed, so that's why there aren't many on my site. But I do them at every wedding.

Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. They're truly beautiful and I'm a big fan of the tangible. You can order linen or leather albums in a variety of sizes. Contact me for more information about my albums.
